OOTD: Spring Flirt

Hi my flowers! Long time no see! So today I've got a ootd for you guys and this is one of my favorite spring ensembles! So let's get started.

So what I wore:
A floral sundress from TJMaxx underneath everything.
A sheer blouse with black lining, also TJMaxx.
A woven skinny brown belt from Forever 21.
Steve Madden Taxxi oxfords.
Gold Stud earrings by Capelli.
Betsey Johnson panda necklace.
BCBG Sweetheart bracelet and my own watch.

I got a lot of compliments on this today! It's super cute and there's so many variations to go with this. Oh, I also just curled my hair and then sprayed the NYM beach babe through it. Okay, so now you can all see the pictures and my narcissistic selfies. Oh my gosh, I almost forgot but shout out to all my Wanelo and twitter followers that read my blog. Kisses and hugs to you all for being so great and supportive. For the future, you can probably expect a raving rant about The Great Gatsby. I love love love Leonardo DiCaprio and already the trailers and the soundtrack is fantastic, hands-down. I'm really excited to see how it'll go, and I hope it meets my expectations! Alrighty it's bed time for me! XOXO have a wonderful week beautifuls! DFTBA.

Closet Essentials: Swimsuits!

Hi my beach beauties! So it's probably spring break for most of you and I'm sorry this probably won't help then, but if you still need a swimsuit I've got your back. So these will be most accommodated to my body type which would be athletic: smaller chest and thicker legs, but with rocking abs. This are great because you need to look cute for that boy! Maybe, or you just want to look nice on the beach which is awesome too. Let's get started!

1. Billabong Jade Stringer Bikini (Top and bottoms are $29.95, total is $59.90 at Pacsun)
So this is just a really cute bikini and I really like the design. I like the triangle top because it gives better coverage in my opinion, and the bottoms are cute too. I do recommend getting a larger size in swimsuits in general (Don't worry, you're still a skinny mini!) because of the shrinkage and coverage. My biggest tip is TRY IT ON! Unless you're absolutely sure/ have no other options, which is not good. At least go into the store and see if it's available there. It might be awkward, but think of all the other awkward situations you're avoiding.

2. Beach Sexy Ruffle Push-Up Bandeau Bikini (Top $36.50, Bottoms $20.50, total $57.00 at Victoria's Secret)
I LOVE VICTORIA'S SECRET BIKINIS. They're seriously so cute and so worth the money. I will admit, it might look a little risque in the store, but they are so nice. I really like this pair, even though I probably would try to avoid the bandeau thing. Bad experience, especially since I got nothing going on up top. You can figure it out. My rule now is the bandeau needs a tie behind the neck as well as the middle clasp. This is floral and polka dots! How can you say no?

3. Balboa Island Swim Triangle Bikini (Top $24.50, bottoms $19.50, total $43.00 at Hollister)
Okay I admit, I'm not a huge fan of Hollister but last year, my roommate had the cutest bikini from Hollister so I decided to branch out this year. This one is really cute, it's blue with this lighter blue pattern on it and I think it will look great on the beach.

4. Atomic Hottie Bikini (Top $74.00, bottom $58.00, total $132.00 at Betsey Johnson)
I love Betsey Johnson soooooooooooo much, it's undeniable. This will look so cute in the sun and against a tan. The pattern is really nice and I really like it.

Okay that's all I've got this time! See you next time, XOXO.

Sweet Sixteen Gift Ideas

Hi my wonderfuls! Hope you're all having a great start to 2013! So this is THAT year, the year when we complain that we can't drive, we can't get jobs, we have no life, and we turn sixteen! So these are just some gift ideas for people I would get them. And sorry guys, I don't really shop for guys so this is girl gift guide, say for like a sister, girlfriend, friend, etc. And it doesn't have to necessarily even have to be her sweet sixteen, these would work for a normal teenage birthday.

1. Techie friends (electronics lovers!)
Okay so this first one is for all those techie girls out there, slightly obsessed with their phones, laptops, etc.

These are a few of Kate Spade's iPhones cases, they're super cute, really sturdy, and made to last. She also has iPad cases and laptop cases, you know the drill. And the design is definitely unique, and it would be easy to find one to match everyone's certain style and likes. There also are really cute ones with phrases and hashtags, and they are so adorable. Okay, now on to the other part of the gift; I would most likely get one of the phone cases along with these beauties.
These are the Monster Beats by Lady GaGa in case you are unfamiliar with these, and these can be a bit pricey, but really worth it. So for the gift, I would throw together the phone case, the earphones, and a card and I'd be all set for the tech-loving friend.

2. Fashionista

This one can be tough especially if you don't know their sizes or style so I have a few options that don't require clothing (unless you really know they want something!).

Lauren Conrad is so well-known for her put together style and how she can effortlessly pull off everything! She's kind of my biggest fashion idol. But her book Style is a really interesting fashion book; it's chock full of tips, styling guides for different tastes, and just outfit ideas along with some other things. It's perfect for that girl who adores fashion and is always looking for a little outfit inspiration.

Jewelry helps enhance the outfit and you can do no wrong here. Anything is good here; I have a few pictures of Betsey items and a Tiffany necklace. Other ideas could be a Pandora bracelet or a Dogearred one; they're really unique and very pretty. One last idea for the jewelry tester could be a couple months' subscription to Jewelmint, which is an online service that sends you a piece of jewelry every month for a certain price and if you like it, you can keep or return it and not pay that month. It would be nice for them to see a few pieces and decide on what they like. For fashion, it doesn't have to necessarily be clothes, it can be books, jewelry, scarves, gift cards to stores they like, etc.

3. Comfy Lover

Comfort is my favorite thing on this planet and I just enjoy gifts like this.

So good ideas would be onesies (since everyone apparently loves them right now), soft blankets, movies to watch, candy, a mug with hot chocolate mix, anything the person generally likes can be changed into a gift.

Well these are just some ideas, I'll put up more at a later time! Tell me what you think about these ideas and I hope this helps you! You can find something for everyone, these are just some suggestions! Have a good day!
